Summer is over and so are we

My four-day trip to Hong Kong
Last weekend, I went to Hong Kong! Hong Kong is an extremely vibrant and busy place, I went there for eating and shopping because their food (mainly Cantonese) is amazing, and the shopping is too! It was a bit of a culture shock because I didn't know how to speak Cantonese but luckily they are slowly changing and most of them are very fluent in Chinese. Here are some (correction: many) photographs from my trip, including quite a few photos of good food, so I'm warning you first before you scroll down! ☺
The first gelato I had: Yakult-flavoured!
Famous century egg at Yung Kee Restaurant, my mum and I's first meal in Hong Kong.
Coins suspended into the shape of a chair at the hotel.
Yong Kee Restaurant's famous goose rice.
Queueing up for a renowned dim sum lunch at Tim Ho Wan! Took us more than three hours of waiting before we could get into the tiny store. People like it because it serves dim sum at an affordable price, and it also garnered two Michelin star awards!
Charsiew and wanton noodles at a street side store during our "waiting time" for the other restaurant.
Got my first pair of Dr. Martens at a street side shop near the Ladies' Market.
Get ready for some adorableness! (Taken at one of the pet stores along Mong Kok)
"Matchbox housing" in Hong Kong
Ladies' Market 女人街 on Tung Choi Street
Glorious charsiew at Cuisine Cuisine @ The Mira hotel
Egg white, scallop and crab
They serve tea at almost every place you go to to eat
Amazing cod with sweet potato underneath
Double-boiled milk with lychee and edible gold flakes on top
Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station
Last dinner in Hong Kong: T'ang Court restaurant at The Langham

Breaded crab
Sweet and sour soup with condiments
Mango pudding
Vibrant night life in Hong Kong
Taking the taxi to the airport, the end of a wonderful trip
Last meal in Hong Kong at the Tasty Congee and Noodle Wantun 正斗粥麵專家 joint at the airport
Spotted pretty "ice hairs" on the airplane window on the way home

  2. How can you say a dog in a box is adorable, that's cruel and disgusting!

    1. First of all, it is an enclosure for the puppy before someone comes along and takes him or her into their home. Secondly, it's not cruel or disgusting because the enclosure does have panels so the puppy can breathe well, as well as food, toys and other things to let the puppy play with. The owners of the shop even come and play with the puppy and let it roam around the store from time to time.
